In chapter four, I believe Billy is a prisoner of multiple things. Billy is a prisoner of free will and the Tralfamadorian's. Billy is also becoming locked in his past. He knows that he will be kidnapped, and there is nothing he can do about it. Billy lies in bed reliving his past and fearing the future.

Chapter Three: Part 2
Chapter 3 resmebles the thoughts of a human made by God. People get caught in between good and evil. Billy realizes how the choices of free will ultimately affect his life. Billy reads this prayer on his plaque, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom always to tell the difference.” Everyone can realte to this prayer because people have trouble changing bad habits. Billy realizes he needs to change the bad habits to benefit his future.
Summary of Chapter Three
There are many DISCRIPTIVE DETAILS present in chapter three. Vonnegut descibes the scences of the novel to create a strong mental image in the reader's head: "there was so much to see--dragon's teeth, killing machines, corpses with bare feet that were blue and ivory" (65). These details help the reader create a vivid image of Billy's experiences. The discriptive details create more illusions to understand Billy's thought process and frame of mind. The reader can grip the feeling of unhappiness Billy is feeling.
Chapter Two: Part Two
Billy resembles the character from the movie, Back to the Future. Like the main character in the movie, Billy travels in time relieving his life. Chapter 1
When I read the first chapter of Slaughterhouse Five, I thought of the movie and book, The Lucky One. I thought of the book, The Lucky One, because of the flash backs and events reflecting on the time of the war. Reading the first chapter, I also related the passage to the television show Grey's Anatomy. In the show, a character Owen has many traumas and flashbacks to his time in serving the war, such as Vonnegut. The wallpaper symbolizing the outline of the novel reminds me of my grandparent's house. Grandparent's houses are filled with memories of their lives since they have usually lived there for so long together. Their houses outline the happiness to come in young lives of younger generations.
